RE: Raptor drawer-slide fix

I bought some of the slide supports at Home Depot that were a lot stronger then the originals and use them. I did the same as raygreg. Easy fix.

RE: AGW 3

Taterhead, ya gotta be here Dude. Fly in if necessary. Somebody will put ya up for the weekend. I'll volunteer right off the top. I appreciate the offer Gary and would love to stay in your sweet RV, but with the new job/schedule I don't always have weekends off. I'm bummed because I was going to put some paddles in the back of your jeep this year and change out the tread on the DS650 when we get to the snow line on the ride to the cabin. :p It just occured to me that somebody else will have to bring the Patron for the Thursday arrivers. :(

RE: AGW 3

Why did I think it was a chair all this time? Hmmmmm.....and boots......maybe I'm confused.... Boots and chair were night 2 or 3 Gary, likely the same night your trailer was cautioned taped... If you look on the other side of Johns trailer in pic 2 your rig wasn't there yet for the tree burning ceremony. :(

RE: AGW 3

Strabo can always make a character testimony on your behalf and make a power point presentation and meet with your employer to allow to make said event. While I'm confident Strabo knows a character when he sees one, I wouldn't want to burden him with this proxy offer. He has better things to do - like forming the Christmas tree erecting and burning commitee. http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o116/terrylubal/IMG_0058.jpg http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o116/terrylubal/IMG_0062.jpg http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o116/terrylubal/IMG_0063.jpg

RE: AGW 3

Hey Formertaterhead, hoping to see if you can make it up here for the AGW. I started a new jobby job and more than likely can't make it. I find out my schedule for February '09 this December, the stars would have to align perfectly for there to even be a chance... I'll be there for AGW 4 though.

Great pics, thanks for sharing, I agree that not much is more fulfilling than creating lasting memories for your kids.

RE: F450's owners

The brakes on the 2008 F450 are perfect. I set my rig up with disk brakes. The truck will stop the trailer with no problem and the trailer with stop the truck. I know because I have tried. The new trucks have had some radiator problems and I have recently posted the flash information. I would buy another in a heartbeat. It is a towing machine and handles well. I average about 8.6 mpg loaded without having my foot in the pedal. I usually tow a little above 29,000 CGVW. I'm on my 3rd radiator, the bead would leak when the radiatior cooled.

RE: F450's owners

I have the 4.88 rear end. I just came back from a 4300 mile trip where I hauled a heavy load on the way and came home with a very light load. First let me say the truck does not like to go faster than 65. I run it at between 60 - 62. My fuel mileage loaded with roughly 13,000 lbs. was 10.5 - 11.5. Unloaded on the way home was 13.2 - 14. I have 23,000 miles on the truck.

RE: Anybody need an RV towed from Indiana to Phoenix area?

We always need trailers hauled from IL out west. We have two waiting to go now. What dates can you pick up? The units are approx 17' & 3000 lb. Next month, we need seven units hauled from IL to Mesa. Hi Ed, I tried to PM you about this, looks like a potential good fit. Feel free to PM me to exchange contact info. Thanks

Anybody need an RV towed from Indiana to Phoenix area?

I'm hauling something for someone from Phoenix to Cleveland and was wondering if anybody needed an RV (or anything for that matter) hauled back West from one of the dealers in Indiana. Just looking to offset some of the fuel expense. If anyone has information on who I could contact at one of the RV manufacturers to see if they need a trailer hauled I'd appreciate you passing it along. Thanks

RE: Loft ladder

A while back somebody posted that they had put armaflex style pipe insulation on the steps, so I tie wrapped some on and it makes a huge diference. It probobly won't last that long but it is cheap. Hope this helps. That was me, here are some pics.... http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o116/terrylubal/100_0176.jpg http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o116/terrylubal/100_0175.jpg It is still holding up great.

RE: Only 115 miles on the F450 in May, been riding the Harley

To the OP what is your MPG with the F450? The computer says 11.6, that is city driving. I ran the card twice the other day ($75 max for some still unknown to me reason) to fill it up. $150 got me 3/4 of a tank.:M :M :M

RE: Polaris RZR in Raptor

Has anyone tried to fit a Polaris RZR and quad (DS650) in the garage? I have a Raptor 3712 and have no trouple putting the RZR in but a buddy was telling me that I can fit my DS650 in also. Sure doesn't look like it would fit to me. Has anyone tried? Thanks, Dave Dave, they will fit if they are both stock, I did it with my DS and a friends RZR to see it I could (the wife wants a RZR). It was tight and we had to lift the RZR over the fuel pathway in the garage.

RE: Tamed the Dragon!

Not sure if you have seen this video, but it was his own fault. He made an illegal pass on a double yellow. Just as dumb (even ignorant) are the comments by a couple of the car occupants. I wonder if it is illegal to witness a crash and take off they way they did in that state? Harley crash at Deals Gap

RE: 09 KEYSTONE RAPTOR 3612DS is showing up 31 May

Congrats on the new hauler, we sure do like ours. Your own personal campground huh? Please share more about your campground and what toys will be going in the back of that thing. Time to change the signature...

RE: Only 115 miles on the F450 in May, been riding the Harley

It's pretty sad to be jealous of your $4.70 diesel. It's fifty cents higher here in So Cal. Dave, I might just go buy Ted Kaczynskis place or one like it if the number at the fuel pump reaches $5 a gallon.
